Andrew Vogl
Andrew Vogl comes with 15 yrs of experience in the field of autism spectrum disorders. He
comes with thousands of hours working with children in ABA home-based programs,
Son-Rise home programs, The Son-Rise program itself, Mainstream programs,
special education settings, and private schools for autism and Asperger's
Syndrome. Eight years ago he used his many hours of hands-on
experience and training to create his own system and program for families
in Connecticut. Over the years he has revamped and improved his program
to increase its effectiveness. One year ago he opened his own
Center for autism, Asperger's Syndrome, and PDD NOS to intensify his program. The
Center has been built with playrooms to simulate an ideal setting where
families can come and see exactly how to set up their own program. Mr. Vogl holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology.
Marisa Valdiserra
Marisa has been working with children with autism spectrum disorders for 10 years. She has a passion for helping children and believes nurturing their inner spirit will contribute to greater health and development. In 2001, she began working with The Vogl Center ,formerly Connecticut PDD LLC. From that point on, Marisa felt a strong connection and belief in the philosophy of this program. She continues her education in the field by attending seminars, conferences, and workshops pertaining to autism, Asperger's Syndrome, pervasive developmental disorders, occupational therapy, and sensory integration. In addition, Marisa currently studies dance/movement therapy, Laban Movement Analysis, and Integrated Movement. Her years of experience in dance and movement have given her a solid undersanding of the mind/body connection, and she uses this knowledge to enhance her interactions with children. Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Sociology.
